The Night Shift : He Is Working While You’re Sleep 

Sometimes we have to learn how to plant the seed and go to sleep. Just because we cannot see what is happening does not mean God is not working.

God works the night shift. While we are resting, He is working behind the scenes. The seed may be buried under the dirt, but underneath that dirt it is receiving what it needs to grow. The fact that the seed isn’t showing doesn’t mean it isn’t working.

Our responsibility is to plant the seed, pray, believe, and trust the process. God’s responsibility is to bring the manifestation. We cannot stress over what God has already taken care of. Sometimes we become exhausted because we are trying to do God’s job.

We have to stop looking only at what we can see. What it looks like is not always what it is. Darkness does not mean that God has stopped working. Sometimes the darkest season is simply the place where God is working on our case.

Let God be God without your supervision. Trust His order and His timing. There are things God is doing in the background that we may never see or understand until the appointed time.

Rest is not laziness—rest is an act of trust. When you can go to sleep knowing that God is still working, you are saying, “Lord, I trust You to work it out.”

So, plant the seed and go to sleep. Stop stressing. Stop trying to control the process. Stop allowing your emotions to drive you crazy. God can handle it all.

And remember:

“In due season it will spring up.”

Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep resting. God is working, even when you can’t see it.

Look to the hills, from whence cometh your help. Your help comes from the Lord. 🙏🏽🌱
